Every year, our community comes together to walk in honor of Destiney to celebrate her life, carry her spirit forward, and raise awareness for the families and children fighting battles just like hers. The walkathon is more than an event. It is a movement of love.
About the Walkathon
The My Dear Destiney Foundation Walkathon brings together friends, family, and community members from across Shreveport and beyond. United by love and driven by purpose, we walk to keep Destiney's memory alive and to support the mission of the foundation she inspired.
Now in its 3rd year, the walkathon has grown into one of our most cherished traditions; a day filled with community, remembrance, and hope.
How to Get Involved

Donations Welcome
Your generosity helps us continue Destiney's legacy and support the families and children who need it most. We gratefully accept donations in support of the walkathon and the foundation's mission. Small businesses are also welcome and encouraged to donate. Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a meaningful impact.
Vendor Opportunities Available
We welcome vendors to be a part of this special day! If you are interested in setting up a booth or table at the Annual Walkathon, we'd love to have you join our community event. Vendor spots are limited, so reach out early to reserve your space.
