The My Dear Destiney Foundation was born out of love, a love so deep, so enduring, that it could not be contained by loss. It is a tribute to a life that touched hearts, inspired smiles, and left a mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Destiney was more than a name. She was a light, warm, radiant, and full of purpose. Though she is no longer with us in the way we wish, her spirit lives on in every wristband worn, every life touched, and every moment of peace found in her memory.

How It Began

On November 1, 2023, The My Dear Destiney Foundation was established, not out of grief alone, but out of a determination to turn love into action. Rooted in Shreveport, Louisiana, the foundation grew from a community that rallied around one of their own. Founded personally to honor Destiney's fight, it was created so that her name would carry forward, and her story would continue to inspire others facing their own battles.

Destiney was diagnosed with DIPG — Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma — one of the rarest and most aggressive brain tumors in children, with no known cure. But if you knew Destiney, you know that a diagnosis was never going to define her. She faced every day with the same spirit, the same smile, and the same peace that made her who she was.

Destiney had a special love for wristbands. It’s why they became the heart of what we do. Every wristband we offer is more than a product, it’s a piece of her, a symbol of her spirit, and a reminder that love endures.

During her fight, Destiney received treatment at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The experience was not without its difficulties, but even there, Destiney was Destiney. She touched lives, formed lasting relationships, and left an impression on the people she encountered. That was simply who she was: someone whose presence made a difference, no matter where she was.

And through it all, she unified an entire community. People who may never have crossed paths came together — rallying around her, lifting each other up, and discovering the power of shared love. That unity is part of her legacy, and it is what drives everything we do.

Our Mission

The My Dear Destiney Foundation exists to honor Destiney’s legacy by spreading love, awareness, and hope within our community. We are intentional about our focus: we center the fight, not the diagnosis. Because what defined Destiney was not a label, it was her strength, her spirit, and the way she faced every challenge with grace. That is what we celebrate. That is what we carry forward.

Through our signature wristbands and outreach efforts, we carry her message forward, reminding the world that love is forever, always, even after that.
